Low-Cost Airline to Start Two New Routes from London to Florida

Norse Atlantic Airways will start services to Orlando International (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) from London Gatwick

Low-Cost carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has finally announced that it is launching direct flights from London Gatwick to two Florida Destinations starting this May.

Norse will commence Flights to Orlando (MCO) from the 25th of May, initially with four flights a week in May and June, increasing to a daily service for the summer months.

Flights to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) will commence on the 26th of May, with a three-weekly service in May and June, which will increase to four times a week for the rest of the summer season.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways, said:

"We are very pleased to announce two new routes from London Gatwick to the popular holiday destination of Florida. We will also be releasing for sale further destinations between London and the US by the end of February. As a result, our UK-based airline, Norse Atlantic UK, will serve more destinations to the US from London Gatwick than any other carrier this summer."

Norse Atlantic Airways is a Norwegian-based long-haul airline operating 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliner Aircraft in its fleet. Although very similar to Norwegian, the CEO of Norse, Bjorn Tore Larsen, explained the differences between the airline back in 2021

"We are a lean and focused operator that will do one thing only: flying long-haul … We're going to focus on one particular thing [rather than operating both short- and long-haul networks]. We don't think anyone else is operating in this niche."

Fares will start from £409, including taxes, and are now available to book on flynorse.com
