BA CItyFlyer Embrear Jet
BA CityFlyer will operate the Flights to Lapland
BA Subsidiary BA EuroFlyer will operate the flights

Commencing from London Gatwick, new bi-weekly flights will start on 3 December 2024, transporting passengers to Ivalo, home to Finland’s most northern airport. These flights will be operated by BA Euroflyer, which is British Airways’ short-haul subsidiary based at London Gatwick’s South Terminal. The route will be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flight details are as follows:
BA2860 London Gatwick 08:35 - Ivalo 14:30
BA2861 Ivalo 15:30 - London Gatwick 17:30

Tom Stoddart, CEO of BA Euroflyer, stated: “Our BA Euroflyer network continues to expand, and we are excited for a new addition to our winter schedule, connecting the likes of Innsbruck and Geneva. Lapland is synonymous with winter, and Ivalo is blanketed in snow for a large part of the year so that customers can expect a white Christmas, with some reindeer experiences thrown in from British Airways for good measure.”
