The New Land takes over Production Central at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida's newest area, Minions Land, has finally soft-opened after months of construction. On Saturday, rumours were confirmed as most construction walls were removed at park opening, causing excitement to skyrocket among visitors.

Universal Studios Florida's Minion Land now offers a variety of thrilling retail and dining options for guests. Some of the new places to explore include the Minion Cafe, Freeze Ray Pops, Bake My Day, Pop-A-Nana, Illumination Theater, and The Bank of Evil. Although the new Villain-Con Minion Blast ride did not open yesterday, it is anticipated to open soon.

Experience the thrill of villainy at Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast, an exciting new attraction where guests can compete in a fully interactive gaming experience. Afterwards, guests can visit Evil Stuff, a brand-new retail store, to purchase Villain-Con and Minions merchandise. Stay tuned for more information about Villain-Con Minion Blast.

Come to the new Illumination's Minion Cafe located in Minion Land for an immersive dining experience! The cafe features three themed areas based on Minion characters Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto. The Kitchen showcases the equipment and gear used to make the cafe's menu, while the Breakroom allows guests to dine in the Minions' break space and view "Office Safety Tips" and a vending machine stocked with mischievous items. The Dining Room is a colourful space adorned with artwork created by the Minions, and guests can also enjoy their meal on an outdoor patio overlooking the fun of Minion Land.

The Minion Cafe's menu is just as eye-catching as its surroundings! Universal Orlando's culinary team has created nearly 20 items inspired by iconic Minion characters and staples from the franchise, including "despica-bowls" like Otto's Noodle Bowl and Agnes's Honeymoon Soup, handhelds like the Steak & "Cheese Ray" Sandwich, and adorable desserts like Bob's Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff. There's even a kids' menu for the "mini Minions" in the family, featuring items like the Mini Boss' Mega Melt. The cafe also has an express window with a limited menu for those looking to satisfy their cravings quickly and return to the mayhem in Minion Land.

Bake My Day

Bake My Day is a delightful bakery and retail store that can be easily spotted thanks to its large pink cupcake. They offer a variety of Minion-themed desserts, such as cupcakes, macarons, and s'mores, as well as a range of exclusive Minion-inspired merchandise, including apparel, plush toys, drinkware, accessories, and keychains.

Pop-A-Nana

Would you like to try some popcorn with a banana flavour? At this walkup location, you can enjoy sweet and savoury popcorn inspired by the Minions' fondness for bananas. Additionally, guests can find a variety of adorable popcorn buckets, such as the Minion Selfie bucket.

Freeze Ray Pops

Cool off with a visit to Freeze Ray Pops, where you can enjoy a variety of colourful popsicles inspired by Gru, the Minions, and Vector, along with beverages.

Illumination Theater

At the outdoor Illumination Theater facade, guests can meet and interact with famous characters such as the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith, and new additions from the movie "Sing," including Rosita, Gunter, and Johnny. Additionally, murals and photo opportunities throughout Minion Land feature other beloved characters from Illumination films.
