Disney Genie+ Sells Out at Walt Disney World for the First Time

Record Prices, Long Lines, Hit Walt Disney World Over President's Day Weekend

Walt Disney World has halted all sales of Disney Genie+ as crowds flock to Walt Disney World over Presidents Day Weekend. Over the weekend, the price for Disney Genie+ has hit a joint record high of $29pp per day.

There are also long queues for Standby lines with attractions such as Avatar: Flight of Passage reaches queue times of three and a half hours and Ratatouille reaching two and a half hours. Most of Hollywood Studio's main attractions have queues of over 90 minutes, with Toy Story Land and Star Wars:  Galaxy's Edge bearing the brunt of long queue times.

Disney Genie+ is a Premium service that allows Guests to skip the standby lines at over 35 Disney attractions across Walt Disney World. The system replaced the old complimentary Fastpass+ in 2020.

Crowd levels are expected to remain high, with many expecting Genie+ to sell out over the next few days.
