There has been a lot going on ovet the last week or two regarding Disney's newest attraction. Here are the details you need to know:

Virtual Queue Details

We now know how the virtual queue system will work when Tron opens on the 4th of April. Here are all the details you need to know: 

First, this attraction has no standby line, and you can only ride it by securing a virtual queue boarding pass. 

Like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you will have two timeslots to reserve a virtual queue at 7 am and 1 pm. 

For the 7 am virtual queue, you must have a park reservation for Magic Kingdom, but you will not need to be in the park. However, for the 1 pm boarding pass distribution, you will need to be in Magic Kingdom to be able to get a reservation. What is worth noting is that if you're staying at a Deluxe Resort and qualify for Extended Evening hours, a distribution slot will be available at 6 pm. Remember, it is entirely free to reserve a virtual queue pass. However, you can only secure a single virtual queue pass per person daily. 

Guests can pay for Lightning Lane to access the attraction if Virtual queue spots are sold out. Prices will start from around $20 and fluctuate depending on how busy Magic Kingdom is, and will secure you a time to ride the attraction.

Tron Lightcycle Run Interactive Experience

Disney announced a brand-new experience called the TRON Identity Program. The experience will allow you to create a "Program" action figure. 

The action figures can be customised to look and sound like you, and you can even select which classification you want to be, such as an Enforcer, Scout or Heavy Scout. Guests can also choose their body configuration type and even which helmet their action figure will wear. 

Guests must make a reservation which will open on the 21st of March. The experience takes around 20 minutes, and the figure will be ready to pick up within an hour. Each guest can bring another person to "Program" their figure. 

Merchandise

Disney has announced what merchandise will be available for guests to buy. It will have it from Hoodies to T-Shirts, light-up backpacks to Waterbottles. Check out some of the merchandise available on Tron's opening day: 

Energy Bytes

As we as the opening of the coaster, there will be a brand new quick-service snack stand called 'Energy Bytes.' Some of the menu items will include:
