Get ready to celebrate the holidays with Mickey and all your Disney pals! Mickey is throwing a festive Christmas party and you're invited to join in on the fun. Watch Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show, featuring a dazzling display of lights and sounds. Catch a glimpse of Santa and his toy soldiers as they make their way through the park during Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Don't forget to take a picture with your favourite Disney characters who are also celebrating the season. And don't miss Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, a lively stage show filled with music, laughter, and snowflakes.

In addition to the festive decor and entertainment, most of Magic Kingdom Park's popular attractions will be open for your enjoyment during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Even your favourite attractions will have a holiday theme and snow will fall on Main Street, U.S.A! You can also expect Character Greeting Experiences throughout the night and complimentary treats like hot cocoa and cookies.

Experience the holiday magic on select nights from November 9th to December 22nd, 2023 at Magic Kingdom Park. With Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets, you can enter the park as early as 4:00 pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your favourite rides and attractions before the event officially begins at 7:00 pm.

"Frozen Holiday Surprise" will take the place of the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights at Magic Kingdom

This holiday season, Disney World will feature a new nighttime entertainment called "Frozen Holiday Surprise" that will bring a fresh take to illuminating the castle. While some were anticipating the return of the beloved Cinderella Castle Dream Lights in 2023, this new offering will take its place for the 2023 Holiday Season. For the first time in forever, guests will be able to join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom for “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” a brand new “Frozen”-inspired entertainment experience that will illuminate the castle in a whole new way. This delightful new offering can be seen during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Disney World has released information stating that three holiday overlays will not be included in the 2023 season. These include Mad Tea Party, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.

Tron Virtual Queue Details

If you plan to ride TRON Lightcycle Run during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will need to join a Virtual Queue. This means that you can only ride TRON once during the event and must follow a specific callback window. Here are the details on how to join the queue:‍

An opportunity to request to join the virtual queue will be available at 6:00 PM for Guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue for this attraction will not be available during the event. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per event.

This is only available for Guests on the day of the event they are attending, and their specific event tickets must be linked to their My Disney Experience account in order to join the virtual queue. Guests attending this special ticketed event do not need to be in Magic Kingdom park to request to join at the time the queue becomes available.

Party Entertainment

MVMCP offers special entertainment options that are a major attraction. These include stage shows, dance parties, and other unique experiences.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Since 2016, Disney has not had a regular nighttime parade. However, during party nights, the Christmas Parade runs twice nightly. Expect to see all the tinsel and candy cane stripes you can dream of, along with your favorite Disney characters.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

Happily Ever After will not be shown on evenings when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place. Instead, you can enjoy Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, hosted by Minnie herself. This show features Disney characters, music, fireworks, projections, and other special effects.

Cookies and Cocoa

During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it can get chilly. However, don't worry as you can find free cookies and hot chocolates at various stops within the park to help keep you energized throughout the party.

Special Characters

At Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you have the chance to meet and greet characters who aren't usually found in the parks. The list of characters changes from year to year but can include Jack Sparrow, Jack Skellington, Sally, and others who may appear elsewhere. Even princesses who typically meet on their own are seen with their princes during the party. Mickey and Minnie are also present, dressed specifically for the event, and other regular characters may be dressed in festive costumes as well.

PhotoPass and Magic Shots

When you buy a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you get PhotoPass service included in the price. Additionally, there are many Magic Shots available exclusively during the party.
