Brand New Movie based Escape Rooms to open next week at Universal's CityWalk

Guests heading to Universal Orlando Resort can now experience two brand-new Escape Rooms.

The Great Movie Escape room will be an immersive themed experience based on "Back to the Future" and "Jurassic Park".

The Jurassic Escape Room will be based on the following storyline:

Guests are new geneticists at a secret lab on Isla Nublar, where they are undergoing training that includes the completion of various day-to-day tasks that range from feeding ferocious dinosaurs to splicing dinosaur DNA to create new genetic codes…until they learn an apex predator has broken free and now they must work together to avoid becoming its prey.

Here is what you can expect from the Back to the Future Escape Room:

Guests are transported to a museum in 1993, where they learn Back to the Future's antagonist, Biff, is up to his antics and has stolen Doc Brown's newest time travel device to sabotage the space-time continuum. Guests must work together to uncover Doc Brown's clues as they travel through time to track down Biff and save the past and future before they run "outatime.

The Back to the Future will also see Christopher Lloyd reprise his role as Doc Brown in the experience.

Prices start from $49.99 per person, plus tax for experiences starting before 6 pm and $59:99 per person after 6 pm.

Rooms include up to six guests, and you may be paired with other parties. However, you can book a private experience for up to eight guests, and prices start from $300.

Tickets are required for guests ages three and up. Guests under three won't be included in the guest count for the room. Tickets include complimentary regular self-parking with advance purchases. Guests should plan on 90 minutes to experience Universal's Great Movie Escape, including check-in. All guests are required to arrive 15 minutes before the allotted start time. Guests using an ECV must transfer into a standard wheelchair provided at check-in to experience Universal's Great Movie Escape.

For those who don't know, an escape room experience usually lasts an hour, in which guests have to solve clues and puzzles to solve a case.
