More details revealed for EPIC Universe coming in 2025

The theme park is rapidly taking shape!

It has been quite some time since Orlando has seen a new theme park. That being said, it's about time we take a closer look at Epic Universe, the upcoming theme park set to open in Universal Orlando.

Recently, CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences at NBCUniversal, Mark Woodbury, shared some exciting new details about Epic Universe in Florida. It seems that this new park is going to be truly epic!

During the Bank of America Media, Communications and Entertainment Conference, Woodbury revealed some intriguing information about what guests can expect from the park. With a promise of incorporating some impressive new technology, it's set to be the "most technologically advanced park" yet for Universal, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One of the most exciting aspects of the park is the utilization of "facial recognition, photo validation technology" to provide guests with a "frictionless experience." This technology may even be used to expedite the entry process for guests, making it more efficient and convenient for all.

In addition to its advanced technology, Epic Universe will feature four themed lands that are inspired by "powerful, trip-driving intellectual property." One of the main attractions at the park will be Nintendo Land, which Universal has revealed will be larger than both the Nintendo Lands in Japan and Hollywood.

Epic Universe will also boast a "lush landscape" with innovative new attractions and food service. From what we know so far, it's shaping up to be a truly exciting experience for guests of all ages.

Woodbury further added, "It's the most technologically advanced park we've ever done," and went on to explain that this includes "the next generation of robotics drone technology, all the way through to the guest experience." It's truly impressive to see how far this technology has come, and it's exciting to think about what this will mean for the park's overall experience.

Set to open in 2025, there's still some time before the park is ready to receive guests. However, we can't wait to see what other updates and exciting developments will be revealed as we get closer to the opening date. Stay tuned for more information!
