USAF Thunderbirds to Perform Flyover over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Today

The U.S. Air Force Demonstration Team will perform flyovers over Cinderella's Castle and Spaceship Earth

Walt Disney World is preparing to kick off National Veterans and Military Families Month with a highly anticipated flyover today. The event will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team, known for its breathtaking aerial performances.

The six F-16 Fighting Falcons, which are the primary aircraft used by the Thunderbirds, will soar over both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT at approximately 10:30 a.m. Pilots as they perform their trademark aerial manoeuvres.

The Thunderbirds are part of the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron and are based at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. They are widely recognised as one of the premier demonstration teams in the world, showcasing the capabilities of Air Force high-performance aircraft to millions of spectators each year.

National Veterans and Military Families Month is an annual observance held each November to honour and celebrate the contributions of military families and recognise their unwavering support for their service members.
