Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane to move to tiered pricing and Droid and Lightsaber Workshop also hit with Price Increases

Today has seen price increases across Walt Disney World, with some of the most significant increases coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

We will start with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, where we found out today that its Lightning Lane offering will follow Disney Genie+ and go to a tiered pricing system.

Depending on the time of year you are going, prices will range from $15 to $22 per person during October. The expectation is that the price will increase further in November. Before today, Lightning Lane had a flat fee of $15 per person.

Rise of the Resistance has been noted as one of the most technologically advanced rides in the World and one of Walt Disney World's most popular attractions, with queues regularly hitting over two hours most mornings.

Scott Gustin a highly respected Disney Blogger said the following:

Walt Disney World: With the Genie+ price increase, the price of *some* Individual Lightning Lanes will also adjust. Example: Rise of the Resistance price range for month of Oct. is now $15-$22. However – no change this month to the max price for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ($11).
