"The Little Mermaid" fans can rejoice as Walt Disney World has announced an exciting new development. The beloved animated classic will come to life in a new theatrical production called "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" at Disney's Hollywood Studios in fall 2024.

The new show will replace the original "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" show, which successfully ran from January 1992 until March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced Walt Disney World to close.

According to Disney, "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" will be a fully reimagined production with stunning new set pieces, cutting-edge effects, and a bold new design that captures Ariel's imagination and emotions through her unique view of the world around her. The show's creators have promised to create an immersive experience that will transport viewers to Ariel's underwater world.

In addition to the incredible visuals, the show will include much-loved songs from the film, such as "Part of Your World," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss The Girl," all performed live by talented actors.
