Disney Genie+ Sells Out for the First Time at Hollywood Studios
Yesterday, something unusual happened at Walt Disney World's Disney Genie+ service. Disney's Hollywood Studios option for Genie+ sold out for the first time at the new $35 price point. The corresponding Multi-Park option reached capacity around 1:15 pm, earlier than usual. Typically, Magic Kingdom is the park to sell out of Genie+.
Disney's Hollywood Studios Genie+ option was priced at $35 yesterday, the highest price for the service at Walt Disney World. However, guests can still purchase Genie+ at other parks. At EPCOT, the price was $32; at Magic Kingdom, it was $39; and at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it was $29.
If you are not familiar with Disney Genie+, it is an option that you can purchase within the Disney Genie service that allows you to access the former FastPass line at select attractions. This line is now called the Lightning Lane. However, certain headline attractions are not included in the Genie+ package. If you want to access those attractions, you will need to purchase an Individual Attraction ticket, which comes at a varying price.
