Blizzard Beach Waterpark to close for the Walt Disney World Marathon

The Waterpark will be closed all day due to the Walt Disney World Marathon

Disney's Blizzard Beach will be closed all day on the 8th of January as the waterpark will line part of the route for the Walt Disney Marathon.

Runners will also pass by Mount Gushmore between miles 20 and 22, so Disney has decided not to open the park.

The Walt Disney World Marathon course will track through all four Disney World theme parks and will start and finish at Spaceship Earth at EPCOT.
